Installing A Vinyl Siding J-Block

Installing vinyl siding around lights and outlets is easier with a J-block.

When a rot-damaged spot is too big to fill with putty, a thin block of wood  is fastened in place.

After installing new windows in an old garage, we made window trim following the design of early 20th century houses.

After rebuilding the wall to accommodate a proper overhead door, we installed some custom-milled siding that closely matched the original.
